Tejano fans packed the Alamodome for the 32nd annual Tejano Music Awards. It's been 10 years since the awards took place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, and Pro8News was there for the homecoming.
Emilio Navaira was among the performers fans lined up to see. Others included Ruben Ramos, Michael Salgado, David Lee Garza, Pete Astudillo and Shelly Lares who welcomed on the red carpet by media from across the United States and Mexico. Among the award recipients was Johnny Canales who received the Lifetime Achievement Award. Others receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award this year were Elsa Garcia and Mingo Saldivar.
