With a majority of their Laredo games being played on Friday nights, the Toro's have flown under the radar in the Gateway City, but that has not stopped the team from racking up the wins. The two Laredo's basketball team is currently 17-5 and tied for 3rd place in the Mexican National Professional Basketball League. The overall record looks good, but the team has dropped their last three games, all to teams that were below them in the standings at the time. The Toro's have a chance to get back in the win column this Friday night as they host the Huricanes de Tampico, who are 11-9 on the season. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 Friday night at the Laredo Energy Arena.
