Private contractors hired by the City of Laredo replacing a waterline at the intersection of Gustavus St. and Bartlett will be creating traffic congestion.
Work begins Wednesday morning at 8AM and will not affect water services. However, there will be low water pressure in about a 10 block radius. The West side, left lane, will be closed from Clark Blvd. to Bartlett Street. Being that this is a really busy area for the morning commute, officials are advising those traveling in the area to find alternate routes. Work is anticipated to take approximately 6 hours to complete, wrapping up by 5PM Wednesday.
