Two Morning Accidents Send 3 to Hospital

Two motor vehicle accidents during the morning commute send three people to the hospital.
First responders were at the scene of the first accident that was reported before 8 AM Wednesday morning along southbound lanes of Highway 35 just after the Lafayette overpass. The driver of the vehicle was sent to the hospital in stable condition. The vehicle did sustain visible damage to its right side. There was minor traffic congestion, but it was cleared as soon as the vehicle was hauled away.
The second accident involved two vehicles that collided at the 400 block of Shiloh in north Laredo. Both drivers, a female in her 20s and another female in her 40s were transported to the hospital with minor injuries and in stable condition. Both vehicles sustained the majority of the damage in the engine bay. There is an investigation ongoing.
