United ISD is announcing a huge event expected to bring in thousands of people into our city.
For the first time the UIL 5 a marching band competition will be right here in Laredo at the districts SAC facility.
The event is expected to bring in 15,000 people into the city next weekend with 40 high school bands from throughout South Texas along with their family and friends.
“This Saturday, Oct. 27, is very important to our city. UISD wants to show people from San Antonio, Corpus and the valley, that UISD is capable of putting on an event of this magnitude and its going to be a great and successful one,” says Ronnie Cantu, UISD Spokesperson.
