A local school celebrates the age of technological learning. U.I.S.D. officials joined faculty and students at Roosevelt Elementary to recognize October as "Computer Learning Month". This particular school campus has a unique approach to learning with the help of their computerized V-Brick program. The program also supports e-learning applications which allow teachers to broadcast and record lectures plus digitize their VHS and DVD into on-demand libraries. V-Brick is also utilized by student anchors to make daily morning announcements on their newscast. Instructors say it allows their students to love the aspect of watching their classmates make announcements live and has helped their communication skills grow. Several other U.I.S.D. campuses also utilize this system.
