Valentines 2013: Pasta with Poblano Cream Sauce & Salmon

Penne Pasta with Poblano Cream Sauce & Pan Seared Salmon
one portion size fresh salmon 3 fresh poblano chillies 1/2 cup heavy cream 4 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon corn starch 1 tsp chicken broth to taste
1. Boil poblano peppers until they become very tender. Then, drain and place in blender with a bit of water. Blend to a liquid. 2. Combine in a sauce pan with heavy cream and remaining ingredients. 3. When all ingredients combine, add corn starch with a bit of water in a measuring cup, and whisk. Add this to poblano cream sauce creating a rich creamy texture. Let simmer for 3 minutes. Add to pasta and enjoy!
