Voz de Ninos Conference a success

A major conference was held here in Laredo today to help educate the public and professionals, and address several issues dealing with children in foster care. The first ever Voz de Ninos Conference took place at La Posada on Friday, February 1st, with multiple presenters. Many of those in attendance work in the fields of social work or the judicial system, and also included foster parents as well. Voz de Ninos works to advocate for abused and neglected children as they go through the court system. Voz de Ninos is the only organization of its type here in Webb County.
