The Webb County Sheriff is receiving an award for his support of our men and women in the military. The Sheriff's Department is one of five businesses or government agencies in the state of Texas that will be receiving the Pro Patria Award.
The recipients are nominated by their employees, for their support while they are deployed and away from their jobs. The sheriff says he is honored to receive the award. Webb County is the only agency in Laredo that pays an employee 100% of their salary while they are deployed. The awards are being handed out March 22nd in Dallas.
