West Nile cases confirmed in Texas
Statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say there are two confirmed cases of the West Nile Virus in the state.
One is in Anderson County, the other in Tarrant County.
The CDC reports 70% of those infected with the virus do not develop symptoms. About 1-in-5 will develop a fever with other symptoms, such as body aches and pains, and vomiting.
Less than 1% will develop neurological symptoms.
