Women React to Recent Indecent Exposure Arrests

Police call it lewd acts. But, the official charge is indecent exposure.
Call it what you may, but the thought of recent arrests involving men publicly behaving in such a manner is enough to creep out most women.
“Yeah, that’s very gross. I don’t know what I would do. I would freak out,” says a teenage girl.
“Yes, especially for young girls. They don’t know better they may get scare,” Rebecca Nava says.
Earlier this week officers picked up two men on separate occasions.
One was spotted in the act at two local parks, the other off the highway, near a restaurant.
Officers say, the best thing for you to do is be aware of your surroundings.
“I would just let them know that I’m going to report them. You shouldn’t do this in a public place,” Nava says.
“But, police say approaching the criminal may not be the best idea. Take a picture if you feel secure, other wise use your cell phone to call police.”
Never hesitate to call police, even when in doubt. That’s the best way to keep yourself and others safe, and keep these criminals away.
