Anticipation over the newest version of the iPhone 5 has been building for months now. This morning, people all across the nation lined up for hours or days to make sure they get the newest and the latest from Apple. Valerie Gonzalez-Sanchez has the local perspective.
I-Phone fanatics lined up since Thursday. "I've been here since like 11:30" says one young man waiting in line. Yet another patron says "We've been here since 12 o'clock the afternoon, give or take, with my brother."
They came prepared with comfortable chairs, and sleeping bags; some improvised. Their love of technology is clearly visible with tablets, laptops and mp3 players in tow as a way to pass the time. It's not hard to figure out why they're here.
"It's going to be faster, quicker, stronger, you know? We're looking forward to it, man!" "The new panoramic app that they have, it's really cool. I'm looking forward to that one."
The highly anticipated i-Phone 5 is on sale. "I'm speechless right now, it's going to be crazy and I'm going crazy for it. We're ready." "I think this is probably the best it's going to be, the best."

Apple took 2 million pre-orders for the iPhone 5 within 24 hours of making it available last week. Some think the company could move more than 10 million phones by Monday.
