Officials in Brooks County have confirmed the death of Conrad Dale Zimmerman. They tell us the 53 year old was killed 12 miles from Falfurrias on highway 281. That's where his motorcycle collided with an 18 wheeler after he reportedly pulled over on the side of the road to make a phone call. Troopers with the Department of Public Safety tell us he was riding back from an annual biker run in South Padre Island. That's where hundreds of bikers gathered this weekend for breast cancer awareness. Zimmerman was part of that biker run. Troopers tell us the incident remains under investigation.
