Man Attempts to Hold Up Stripes

He tried to get away with money from a local convenience store. And it might have worked, except he had no basic plan or even amateur idea how to do it. Instead he thought by repeating "dame la feria." or "give me the money" over and over again that it would get him the cash. It didn't.
As you can see the suspects face and voice were are all captured by surveillance cameras at the Stripes in the 100 block of Hillside. This all happened on December 20th. In the video the suspect is seen acting like he has a gun. After a few times of asking for money, the clerk argues back, saying no and even points out the cameras recording the suspect. The suspect finally leaves.
