Security Increases On Tax Free Weekend

As a result of the large crowds expected to be out in stores this weekend Laredo Police say they will be paying extra close attention to parking lots.
Laredo Police say the increase shopping may also bring an increase in car burglaries by thieves who want to get their hands on all the new merchandise. Police are advising shoppers to never leave valuables in plain view in the car.
They also suggest shoppers go home and drop off purchases before continuing their shopping. They say its also important to always remember to lock your car.
