A five-year-old boy is flown to a San Antonio after being hit by a police cruiser thursday evening.
It happened shortly before seven this evening in the 6000 block of Balcones Street in South Laredo.
When first responders arrived, they found the child suffering from injuries to his lower extremities.
Officials tell us a police car had hit him.
The child was taken to the Laredo Medical Center but then flown to San Antonio for further treatment.
