Construction of an overpass project is about to begin.
City officials and the Texas Department of Transportation held a groundbreaking ceremony Friday afternoon to mark the official start of the overpass project near Loop 20 and McPherson intersection.
The $14.5 million project is expected to be completed sometime by the spring of 2014.
