'French chateau' in Laredo to be restored

An 18th century French chateau that sits right here in Laredo is set to be restored.
The home in central Laredo has been in the Beckelhymer family since the early 1900's.
A crew was at the property today moving furniture and belongings out of the home.
The property has been leased to the city, long term, to allow the chateau to be restored. Plans haven't been finalized yet, but there are talks of the home becoming a museum.
