As many people headed to work this morning, someone may have been playing hookey. Wouldn't you if you just won $20 million?
"All the time I buy lottery tickets expecting to win sometimes. I wish I could win $20 million."
Only one ticket bought at the Pump-N-Shop gas station located on San Dario has the winning numbers. The numbers must have special meaning to the winner because they were not a quick pick, which generates numbers at random. These were hand picked by the winner. So what do people in Laredo think about this exciting news?
"I thought it was great. Great for the winner and great for the people who sold it."
"Does this make you want to try your luck at the lottery? No I've never bought a lottery ticket. Maybe once or twice. I think you'd have to buy a lot of them to finally win."
"Wow. I think that's a great thing, especially for Laredo. It gets our name out there. I don't personally buy lottery tickets, but I'm happy for that person."

"If we can make a party at the winner's house, that would be nice."
