Farmers' Market is around the corner, but you don't have to wait for a sample of their fare. Caffe Dolce's Valerie & Chris show us how to prepare their 'Purple Monster' all natural juice.
If you would like to make the Purple Monster drink, here's what you'll need:
-Half a Red Cabbage
-Stalk of Celery
-One Gala Apple
Farmers Market is the third Saturday of every month, except in December when it is moved to the second Saturday. It is held at the downtown Jarvis Plaza from 9AM-12PM. This month vendors will offer:
fresh local grapefruits, cilantro, basil, salad mix, papayas, pomegranates, green beans, tomatoes, onions, fresh-made juice, calming and robust Texas-grown lavender products, handmade candles, bird feeders, soaps, skincare and natural beauty products. Parking is free with a market purchase at the El Metro Parking Garage, across the street from Jarvis Plaza.
