Sheriff's narcotics investigators and ice agents make a cocaine bust in a school zone.
Investigators arrested 19-year-old Arturo Garcia and also 25-year-old Rosario Mendoza just three blocks away from Kawas Elementary School.
They were arrested off of San Luis street, allegedly caught in possession of 24 dosages of crack cocaine individually wrapped for distribution.
Officials say Mendoza and Garcia..were working out of a local tire shop; five-hundred bucks in cash was also confiscated.
The drugs have an estimated street value of more than 15 hundred dollars.
Garcia was also charged with resisting arrest and assault on a peace officer, both are in jail in lieu of no bond.
