A former TAMIU police officer is arrested after an incident with her boyfriend. 41-year-old Romelia Garza is facing charges of driving while intoxicated, criminal mischief, evading arrest with a vehicle, and deadly conduct. According to police, Garza had an argument with her boyfriend, and drove by a family business, shooting at the building nine times. Nobody was inside the business at the time of the incident. Police say they had a lookout for the vehicle, after her boyfriend called authorities. When officers spotted her, she refused to stop, leading them on a small chase but later stopped. The investigation continues in this case.
