Some Laredo youth used their talents to help raise money for a local rehab center. A press conference was held Friday so the group of teens could present a check to the Ruth B. Cowl rehabilitation center. They organized and held a benefit concert back on June 1st with all proceeds going to the rehab center. One of the directors at Ruth b. Cowl says the teens deserve some recognition for everything they did. "We were so surprised when Adrian called us and said that he wanted to do something for the center, so he told us he would coordinate this whole event and he called us and he said he was ready to go so we helped him with fliers and tickets and that kind of thing, and his mom had the tickets printed, and these kids are phenomenal, I think their goal was to raise $500 and they came in well over that." A total of $1725 dollar was donated to the center. All the money will go to help patients with the different services offered.
