Victim hit by stray bullet on New Years speaks out

A man is speaking out after being injured by stray bullets right after midnight into the New Year.
According to the Laredo Police Department the two victims were identified as 57-year-old Roberto Ubaldo and 25-year-old Luis Alberto Cantu.
The first incident happened in the 1100 block of East Price, where the victim was outside of his home right after midnight and was hit by a stray bullet in the head. He was injured and taken to LMC for treatment.
The other incident happened shortly after midnight, in the 1000 block of San Enrique.
The victim was also hit and was treated and released from the hospital. Now, the Laredo Police Department is urging our community to put a stop to the tradition of shooting guns in the air.
