Zaffirini Kinder teacher Ana Fuentes is April's "One Class at a Time" award recipient

Over the past two years we've surprised a lot of local teachers as our One Class at a Time recipients.
But today's announcement even surprised us.
You see when we went to Zaffirini Elementary to honor Ana Fuentes it turned out she wasn't in class.
She was one of dozens of UISD Kindergarten teachers at a seminar taking place at the district offices.
So we got a chance to congratulate her in front of her peers.
Our own Ann Hutyra lead the pack.

And we want to remind you we are still accepting applications for the final recipient of the 2008-2009 one class at a time honor.
