A stinky situation if finally over for people on the city's Northside.
City crews made repairs to manholes on Bristol road early this morning and a utilities truck was called out to vacuum sewage left behind in a nearby creek.
Over the last few weeks people have had to endure the stench of sewer water overflowing from the manholes.
City officials say the problem actually began near I-35 and Taylor after a manhole collapsed and caused the back up of the sewer system.
The public is asked to call 311 with any problems and the city says they will send someone out to the location.
