By Ray Gomez

Now to an update to a Pro 8 News Problem Solver.
A problem we brought to you more than four months ago has yet to be solved and area residents still want answers.
Residents in south Laredo are still complaining about a very dangerous intersection.
They say a traffic light needs to be installed at the intersection of Clark and Ejido after several accidents have occurred here.
Area residents claim their councilman; Hector Garcia promised them a traffic light would be installed.
He denies ever making that promise, but assures his the people of his district that the problem is very close to being solved.
Hector Garcia, Councilman, District 2
"We're hoping in the next 90-120 days it should be up, now I’m telling you and now I’m promising it, but we've had to work with the red tape of the state being it was a state road."
Councilman Garcia claims TxDot initially denied the project.
As of right now, the paperwork has been pre-approved.
