Pro 8 Problem Solvers: Neighbors speak out about overgrown lot

Patricia Saldivar lives in central Laredo on San Jorge Street.
She says a house in her neighborhood is putting several people in the community at risk.
The grass has grown out of control and the lack of maintenance to the house has allowed all sorts of animals to move into the lot.
City officials have visited the area, but Saldivar says nothing is getting done.

"The thing is we have a lot of children and elderly people in this neighborhood and we are worried animals and rats may bite them."

In addition to the pests, Saldivar says there have been a number of fires at the house in addition to vandalism.
