Nixon falls to Mission Vet in bi-district round

The Nixon Mustangs were the lone Laredo team left to try their hand at a playoff victory. Tonight they faced the mission veteran Patriots in Roma. The Mustangs took the Patriots the full 5 games... Coach Cabrio said Mission Vet was one of the better defenses they've seen this season... The Mustangs came up just short losing in the 5th game by a score of 16-14. As it stands all the Laredo teams have now been eliminated from the playoffs. Great job to all the girls for their hard work... we look forward to seeing them again next season.
