While Alexander will play in the regional semifinals for the 3rd straight year, this years playoff run has been a little different. Each football season, the four teams making the playoffs from each district are broken into division one or division two brackets based off the enrollment size of their school. The past two years the Bulldogs have played in the division two bracket, but this year they were tossed into the upper division, meaning they are playing the biggest schools in the state. Despite taking on the added challenge, head coach Joel Lopez says many times it all comes down to who you draw. Alexander will take on O'Connor this Saturday at 2:30 pm at Dub Farris Stadium in San Antonio.
