The high school soccer playoffs are right around the corner and two Laredo teams will be champions of their respective districts. Congratulations are in store for the Martin high boys soccer team, who dominated Alice last night 9-0 as they finished off their district championship season. That win gives the Tigers the outright 31-4A championship and the #1 seed in the UIL playoffs out of the district.
It's not just the Tigers making their way to the postseason as all three LISD boys teams have qualified. We know the match-ups for the bi-district round and here is how things will shake out:
Martin vs Moody, 3/25 TBD, at Alice
Cigarroa vs Rockport, 3/26 6 pm, at Alice
Nixon vs Gregory-Portland, 3/26 8 pm, at Alice.
