The group of 16 and 17 year olds representing Laredo in the Big League World Series, wrapped up pool play this afternoon. Sadly for the Laredoans it was another rough day the plate as they could only collect one hit on this way to losing 4-0. It was a scoreless game into the bottom of the 6th, but that's when the host team would explode for all four runs in their half of the inning.
Raul Lozano would get the Southwest teams only hit of the day with a single in the 4th. The team also had three walks but could never get a runner past 2nd base. Overall the team went 0-4 in pool play and will not advance to the knockout round. .
