It was another proud day at Alexander high school this morning, as one of their own signed another Letter of Intent to play sports at the college level. Diana Scott signed on the dotted line and will be playing for coach Binny Canales and the LCC Palominos come next fall. The outside hitter was instrumental in the Bulldogs back-to-back sweet 16 finishes the last two years. Scott never came off the floor for Alexander, playing both the front and back lines, finishing with an impressive 418 kills, 36 blocks, 432 digs and 42 aces. The senior says she is excited to stay close to home where her parents can conintue watching her play.
"It was my goal to play college volleyball and I'm going to live it. I'm excited to play for LCC. I wanted to stay home for awhile with all my family here and it's a good school and I'm excited to play for them."
The Palominos are coming off a season where they went 20-9 and played into the 3rd day of their regional tournament.
