With their win last night over rival United, the Alexander Bulldogs won a share of the district title. Alexander, Del Rio and Eagle Pass finished in a three way tie with matching 9-3 records. Earlier Wednesday a coin flip was held to determine the seeds and the Bulldogs came away with the number one spot. They will take on Edinburg Vela on Monday night at Texas A and M Kingsville.
Meanwhile the Longhorns dropped to the 4th seed and will take on Sharyland in the bi-district round but details of that match up have not been released. In District 31-4A, the Toros will be the 3rd seed but their playoff fate is not known at this time either.
