Today kicked off the 5th annual Assist-13 campsm spear headed by the NBA's own Kaleb Canales. Friday's clinic saw almost 90 youngsters between the ages of five and eight take to the Alexander gym working on all aspects of their game. Kids ran everything from shooting to passing to defense and even a series of NBA style agility drills. Those participating all seemed to enjoy their morning.
There will be four more camps over the next three days. Saturday will see the 9-13 year olds hit the court at nine am and organizers are expecting close to 200 kids. They recommend to be there an hour early to ease the registration process.
