Portland Trailblazers assistant coach, Kaleb Canales returned back to his hometown this weekend to host basketball camps for kids. The camps began Monday and will be all week. Coach Canales worked with the players on different basketball drills and shooting techniques. But the camp was more than just basketball, Coach Canales wanted to stress to the kids to work hard towards their dreams. "Well he just talked to us about remember what he taught you and follow your dreams. If you want to be something when you get older, go ahead and follow it and work as hard as you can." "You know, dream big. To have whatever dreams they might want to do, to follow their dreams. People might tell them, 'you can't do this, you can't do that,' but ignore the noise and just to follow your dreams and whatever they want to accomplish in life they can do it." These camps will be held Tuesday-through-Thursday as well.
