In local basketball news, it appears the South Texas Revolution are done here in the Gateway City. We are hearing from sources within the team that the players were sent home and told they would no longer be player here. In speaking to head coach Johnny Tyson, he says there is still a chance that their next scheduled game could be played this Saturday. We do know the Corpus Christi Clutch have folded as well. Calls to the local league representative went unanswered. The Revolution were 1-10 on the season and had played their last few games at St. Augustine High to sparse crowds.
