The LEA sent out a release this evening as well, saying they fully expect the Rattlesnakes next game to be played, as scheduled, this Saturday at 7:05 against the Rio Grande Valley Magic. This postponment comes at a time when many are wondering what will become of the Lone Star Football League.
Earlier in the month, the undefeated Houston Stallions folded their franchise due to financial concerns. Now reports out of Corpus are that the Hammerhead players were refusing to get on their bus, due to not being payed, as a way to protest. Saying they have received threats that they will be kicked out of their housing.
The Hammerheads lost their head coach today, who according to KRIS, quit this afternoon.
