The TAMIU men's soccer team is gearing up for a rematch with the #5 ranked team in the country. The Dustdevils will host Midwestern State tomorrow night in a rematch of a game TAMIU lost 2-0 on August 31st. That game would be scoreless through 60 minutes before the Mustangs would find the back of the net. Midwestern St. was able to hold TAMIU to only two shots on goal over the entire 90 minutes.
The Dustdevils think they now know how to beat Midwestern St. and know they must do so if they are to reach the national tournament.
"We have a good plan for tomorrow for the game. I think if we stay together as a team and work hard, I think we will have the victory in the end."
"This win would guarentee us to go to Nationals, if we win this game and win the rest of the season, we'll be good in going to the playoffs."
This game will kick off tomorrow night at 7:30 pm at the TAMIU soccer complex. Free t-shirts will be given away to the first 300 fans in attendance.
