For the third time this year a former Laredo Lemur has been picked up by a major league baseball club. Matt Way's contract has been purchased by the Arizona Diamondbacks after a solid 2012 for the Lemurs. The former 5th-round draft pick compiled a record of 10-7 with an ERA under 4.00 and 112 strikeouts on the year. Way led the American Association with six complete games and his win and strikeout totals were good for 2nd in the league. He joins Chaz Roe, who was also picked up by Arizona, and Chris Murrill as the other Lemurs to be picked up by major league organizations this year.
