Grandfather Passing on Life Lessons through Golf

On this day of thanks, spending time with family is a cherised activity, but having a grandparent teach you a sport most kids don't get the opportunity to play, makes this Grandfather and Grandson relationship unique.
"He just brought me out one day and he just took me to the putting green right here and I fell in love with it."
"When he gets out of school he calls me first thing and says come on, come get me. I never have to tell him, let's go do this, he's ready to go."
Paul Young IV picked up a golf club over a year ago under the watchful eye of his grandfather, Paul Young Jr., who sees golf as more then just a sport.
"It's the one game if you make a mistake or break a rule, you call it on yourself. And it really is neat. It teaches you character and how to count. It's just a really good game."
The edler Youngs finds his grandson has a temperment perfect for the game.
"He just doesn't get upset. In fact he spends some of his time keeping me from getting upset by saying it's ok, don't worry. I'll chip the next one up and we'll get up and down and we'll get a par."
"Not the real tall one, the one just to the left of it. Aim it right there and have a little hook."
Under his grandfathers watchful eye, the fourth has already brough home some decent hardware. But where does he hope golf takes him?
"PGA. "You think you can be a professional golfer?" Yea I think so."
"I know you can do it if you just stay down. That's all you gotta do."
"He wants to do it and it's going to be a shame if nobodies there to help him."
The youngest Paul Young went on to win his last two tournaments giving him three victories overall for the season. He says he may jump up to the advanced level of his age bracket next season.
