It wasn't just the intense fitness competitors out today, HEB also held a volleyball tournament for all eight Laredo area stores. This is the 6th year the grocery chain has held the event and this year their charity of choice was the South Texas Food Bank. In all nine teams competed and raised over $1,000 to be donated. HEB matched that donation, meaning over $2,000 was given to feed those in the south Texas area that are without food. The winners took home the prized "Wilson" volleyball, complete with case to be displayed. While some teams took it more serious then others, in the end they said it was all about giving back to the community.
