By KGNS News

The Laredo Heat are back in the Gateway City after a quick two game road trip over the weekend. After tying the West Texas Sockers on Thursday, Laredo would add a 2-0 win victory over league leading Austin. Goals from Juan de Dios Ibarra and Irving Villanueva would prove to be too much as Laredo picked up an important three points. Juan Nava talked to us today about being able to take care of a good Austin team.

"It was vital for us to win this game because we had never faced this team. It's a new team in the conference, so we went out there and did our job and with the experience we have we were able to come out victorious."
