It was another banner year for the Laredo Heat and today two of their stars were honored. Juan de Dios Ibarra and Max Gunderson were both named to the PDL All-South conference team. Gunderson took it one step further though, as he was also named as a member of the PDL All-League team. The defenseman was a stallwart for the Heat on the backline and even chipped in offensively with assists as well.
Ibarra was the hands down leader for Laredo on offense, scoring 11 goals and racking up 25 total points. The Heat added another division title to their credit, but were upended in the first round of the PDL playoffs.
