Several of Laredo’s professional teams are preparing for the new season; the Laredo Heat included.
This weekend the Heat hosted try-outs.
The team had several players from all over the world trying out Sunday for some open roster spots; some from right here in the U.S., Brazil, Cuba and Mexico.
The Heat will be rebuilding their team this year, hoping to bring home a championship title.
(Greg Mulamba):"It's going to be good to have a bunch of new players so we're excited for that but like every season we expect to win, get some championships so we'll just take a day a time."
The Heat will have three returners this season: Greg Mulamba...Juan De Dios Ibarra and goalkeeper Emmanuel Frias.
