The Lemurs have also made some more roster moves today, sending outfielders Ernie Banks, Jr and Matt Forgatch to Gary Southshore.
Banks batted a .343 and had 25 RBI’s, which was second on the team in both categories.
Banks also hit three homers for the lemurs.
Forgatch was a recent member of the Lemurs team, only playing in ten games.
Forgatch was mainly used for his speed, reeling in three stolen bases since beginning with the team on June 22.
The Lemurs will get another left-handed pitcher. This trade completes an earlier trade when the Lemurs acquired Chris Chavez earlier this season.
