Laredo got out to a quick 3-0 lead thanks to a big homerun from John Alonso in first inning. They would add two more in the 2nd, making it 5-0. Sioux City came back with six unanswered runs taking a 6-5 lead before Laredo tied things up at six. That's where they stayed into extra innings when Brian Peterson drew a bases loaded walk with two away in the 10th for a 7-6 victory. That win coupled with a 9-0 Grand Prairie loss means the Lemurs sit alone in 1st place in the South Division with only 12 games remaining.
