In Grand Prairie this afternoon the Lemurs continued their struggles as they dropped their second straight to the Air Hogs, this time 5-2. The bats would once again go silent as Laredo only musters four base hits on the day and didn't get on the scoreboard until the top of the seventh. Grand Prairie got the scoring started with one in the second, but it was a four-run fifth inning that included two Air Hog home runs that did in the Lemurs. Ryan Sasaki took the loss, dropping to 1-2 on the season after giving up 13 hits and five earned runs over six plus innings.
Even with their recent slide the Lemurs are still best in the south division with a 15-11 record. Laredo returns home tomorrow for seven in a row as they host El Paso for four and then Wichita for three games.
