More good news from the TAMIU campus, as softballs Rochelle Nash has been named the Heartland Conference Hitter of the Week. The junior finished the week with eye popping numbers racking up 12 hits in 26 at bats for a .462 batting average. Nash also hit three home runs driving in eight runners and scoring five times herself. The two time second-team all-conference outfielder helped the Dustdevils sweep Texas A and M Kingsville at home, they then followed that up with a split the Holiday Inn Invitational in Wichita Falls. Nash is currently fifth in the conference with a .397 batting average and leads the Heartland Conference with her three home runs. The women will be back on the diamond tomorrow for a double header with Angelo State.
