It was a fun day at Laredo Community College as a student that started his high school days at Alexander is coming back to the Gateway City to play tennis after signing with the Palominos. After his freshman year as a Bulldo, Eman Esfandi moved to the San Antonio area, where his love and skills at the game of tennis continued to evolve. Esfandi says it was his relationship with LCC head coach Jaime Don Juan that led him back to Laredo.
"When I first was in Laredo I practiced tennis he actually coached me and helped me get better. I always dreamed, "imagine if I could play back on the LCC team and then I got the chance to try out and made it and it's a dream come true."
The Palominos are coming off another national championship at the junior college level.
